This unpretentious Mexican eatery has been in San Diego since 1933. Very few restaurants celebrate their 1st birthdays, and this one is in its 80th year! After hearing about this place for many years, I finally made my way to Barrio Logan to get the Cuatros Milpas experience: line out the door, homestyle cooking, open tortilla kitchen, and even a rooster cruising on a remote controlled 4 wheeler.
While there is the 1% who think this place is overrated, 99% of those who come here are customers for life. Below is what I had for lunch; I ate 95% of it.
